A New Site for Your Web ToolBox
By Stephen Spry : Filed under SBSN News
Just six weeks after installing WordPress, I’m very pleased to say my new experiment seems to be working very well indeed as I now announce another web site in my toolbox series…
First there was the Work At Home Business Toolbox (March 2007)… and now, after six weeks of rigorous testing, I’m pleased to present you with the Net Marketing Toolbox… a place where you can find new and classic tools, information, advice and discussion on Internet Marketing.
Net Marketing Toolbox uses WordPress - a popular blogging platform - as the CMS (Content Management System). And since I’m VERY new to WordPress, the past six weeks has been an absolute blast for me as I’ve been learning how to put this software through its paces and get it to do the things I want.
And I’m very pleased with the outcome… If you’re looking at implementing a site that won’t just be a brochure - i.e. it’s packed with action and changing material… then WordPress is a great CMS to use - it’s NOT just for blogging as long as you set it up right.
Oh… and if you want to see what happens while I play with WordPress, from a beginner’s perspective, then check out Stephen’s personal blog.
