What Are You Doing Right Now?

It’s really simple to overcome one of the biggest problems of trying to grow and manage your business (on the ‘net or in the real world). The problem? Getting distracted and losing sight of what you should focus on.

There are countless things you think you have to do, and just as many things you think you still have to learn about doing business. And as you engage in this never sending search for answers, you’ll probably find you never really get closer to doing what you should be doing.

A recent story by John Reese on “Opportunity Is Knocking But Are You Answering?” highlighted the one thing you should be doing right now if you are an entrepreneur (online or off).

And that is simply - “Make Offers!”

If you are in the business of selling products or services then the one action you should be taking right now is making offers because that is what generates the cash!

Whether it be your own products, or other people’s products… your own services or other people’s services…

If you are selling, you need to make it obvious that you have these things are for sale and encourage your “audience” to get them from you.

Now this doesn’t just apply to people who have something for sale…

In my case, I am essentially a “content developer/publisher”. I have many authority web sites which need to be constantly fed fresh content (which are monetised through the display of advertising). If I get distracted and don’t keep publishing new, useful quality content, then my web site traffic will drop, and my income will suffer as a result!

So go do that now, and get some good back-links happening to your web site!

And then, stop fiddling with all the other things that are taking you away from what you should be doing.

Identify what it is that makes you money, and focus on that!
